I'm hesitating installing it. I don't see a huge need for it but I could be wrong and missing some features. I haven't heard of anyone crashing with it.

Windows XP SP3 has an issue with AMD procs on OEM machines.  It is due to the way Windows was installed at the factory.  I installed it when I redid my box.  Saves on doing a shitload of updates.  Not really nesissary, but probably a good thing to install within a year or so.  Just make sure to backup your computer with Ghost or something along those lines.

I haven't had a problem after installing SP3. Don't see a point to it though, just a jewish thing they're doing.

I install it when I do fresh installs for customers.  It save a shitload of time since it is literally every update since SP2 back in 2003.  Microsoft needed to do SP3 a couple years ago.

I updated to SP3 while still in transition to going all Vista. SP3 runs fine, but I have been Vista only for the last 3 months.

lol.... I wouldn't mind using Vista if it was as reliable as XP but I guess that's obvious.

From what I have been reading, Windows 7 is going to be a retooled Vista.  Hopefully they will fix all the BS.

I use Vista as my main OS at work.  Oddly enough it works better than XP on the other partition of my laptop.  But that may be because Outlook runs like krap for some reason.  Not a bad OS, just knock everything down and make it look like Server2k3/2k8 and you'll be fine.  If computer's were meant to look pretty, they would be sold in stores staffed with disillusioned retards (ie Mac Stores).
