There is no such thing as a free lunch. Someone, somewhere in canada someone is paying for their health care. That someone is the taxpayers, who have less money to save and spend since the government is using it to fund things. Now, don't get me wrong, they probably would have used that money to pay for health insurance but you have to remember, there are people who are not paying into the system. Also, in our medical system, we get to dictate and yell at our doctors since they have to provide a service or we will go to another doctor. In Canada, you go to state-ran doctors, no choice whatsoever. I remember a Mr. Bean skit where he had a tea pot stuck on his hand (then eventually a trash can). He had to take a number and wait. Now, I've been to an emergency room and waiting is a fucking bitch, but to have to take a number to wait, that is bull shit (though he should have gone to a hardware store and buy a hacksaw but thats besides the point). Also, I really, really don't want the government dictating my treatment. I DON'T FUCKING CARE IF THEY DO OK IN ENGLAND AND FUCKING SHIT I DON'T WANT ANYONE DICTATING MY TREATMENT OTHER THAN ME!!! YOU HEAR ME YOU LIBERAL FUCKERS!!!!

It won't pass because there is too much money to be made of stupid Americans.

All healthy people that live a good life style should get free insurance. Let the obese, for example, pay for it. Bad lifestle should be no free insurance.

Besides, if I had to go to a doctor for something serious I'd go to a private office anyways. Same as you do in Russia, England, or whatever other country you want to mention when you have the money to do so.
