not sure if you will need 2GB VRAM, if your only using one 1920x1200 monitor you wont.

yea not a fan of 1gb cards as i'll be gaming at 1920x1200 (1.5 is the sweet spot, dont really need 2 or 3gb either) i've made up my mind (finally) and dont plan to sli or crossfire, so i'll prob be getting the 580
