Maybe there is a simple answer to this but if there is I can't figure it out. Quite often I can't
get a connection that allows me to play on the server ( Ping over 600), late at night usually works best. But I have played a bit on the server listed below and can usually hook up at any time and at  a low ping usually under 130. Could it be a setting on my end? Distance from our server (KEA) and this one are similar. Any thoughts?

The servers are only a couple hundred miles apart, I don't think that it would cause your ping to jump up 500. I am not sure however, I think sloppy was experiencing similar problems.

well you are quite a ways out there in canada. and the enforcers server is closer to you then ours is.but like rambo said not by much.

and looking at your ping on their server, it was quite high itself. close to 200. so i can see why your ping would be around 250-300 on our server.

u need  a better ISP,and shut down all the unnecessary applications from the task manager.
i usually end about 10 processes before i play on our server..not that it helps a lot but its better than nothing.
