Why I didn't show up for the CAL match

Hey.

So I decided I wanted to update my video driver before the CAL match which I did. I then decided to update my BIOS, which I did too. I restarted. All went well, Had to restart again, I did. Then, computer would boot up to the WINDOWS LOGO then the screen would go black, with a PC BEEP and nothing. Restarted a few times but still got the same output. I tried many things and nothing would work, and trust me, I tried a lot of things.

So I decided to just re-install WINDOWS (VISTA 64 BIT this time) and go from there. Everything is working fine right now.

So that's why I couldn't show up. I didn't have another computer available to me or one that had STEAM installed.

Hopefully you guys were still able to play the MATCH or at least the SCRIM before the CAL match.

Let me know how it went, unless there's another thread about it.

this is why i dont play around with my own computer, i dont want to mess it up, but i dont mind messing with other peoples computers though

It did not matter Guitar ,as the other team weasled their way to a forfeit even if we had the 6 players.

almost every team in cal does it, i'm not really sure why, kinda gay if you ask me, but thats the way it is. it was my fault, but i didn't expect to be 5 days without internet, but it was still my fault. thats the reason why OnA never played cal really, we tried bf2, won our first match but did something wrong when notifying about the win, and we got a forfeit loss.

yeah, you were saying that OnA really never did CAL because they are so anal about their rules. which i have to agree. and about you guys joining bf2 cal, i did hear that when the OnA guys would get together they were almost unstoppable.

i don't know much about the bf2 cal people, but we were ok, but like kea is in dod, we all had played pubs, so we wouldn't have been great the first season.
