Where are all the Russians?

I've been trying to play the last few days and the DODS server but have found a practically empty server.  Did non-steam players get prevented from playing?

not that I can tell.  And they have been on, just not in full force as normal.

#1, setti master server hadnt or still hasnt been updated for the latest version and its master server was offline for a long time, #2 apparently the most popular non steam 'crackers/releasers' have decided to quit cracking the game so people are having to look elsewhere, #3 so far none of the russian nonsteam server admins have decided to update yet. hopefully, eventually everythign will be back to normal

lots lof them left when we changed the maps rolling when it used to be only ava and romania. (which i prefered by the way) + the issue of the others servers + the recent updates.

I would say it's the recent updates.  I didn't notice a dip in users when we changed the map rotation.
