The best recipe  consists of a few dolars and a car. Drive yourself to mc-don. or wendys and buy a burger.:D

The secret to make good burgers is to use saltines as filler.
Crumble the crackers till they are almost powder and put them in.
Its not only a filler that helps you make more but also ads a lot of unexpected flavor.

Got this trick form a guy who owns a gourmet burger joint here in Ottawa.
Make sure to get good beef as well don't cheap out.

Then put what ever you want on top of it.
BBQ sauce, bacon and cheese does it for me.

Also you can put onion soup mix into your burgers to really give them a nice flavor.

theres a pre-made spice mix in the states, i cant remember who its made by buts it called "kickin chicken", i usually mix that and some form of salt and garlic into the meat, then by hand shape them. also, dont by those precut burgers, they usually aren't as good as actually buying the ground beef and doing it yourself.

Throw some super finely chopped onions and garlic in the burger with some salt and pepper. A good trick to keep it juicy and even cooking is to take a piece of white bread and add about a teaspoon to a tablespoon of milk and mix that well untill its almost disolved add that to about a pound of meat. While cooking the burger on a bbq no frying or grill panning it, put some lea and pepperins worchestershier sauce (cant spell it). While thats cooking thinly slice some onions and throw them in a fry pan that is on medium low with some butter and a bit of olive oil and cook them for 20 min (they should be really soft and look brownish and should be sweet and yummy). Also brown up 2 pieces of bacon on the bbq (watch it close or it will burn) when burger is flipped put those onions on it then cover with cheese let cook till about medium. Let sit 5 min and it should be just pink in the middle which is honostly the rarest one should eat ground beef unless its from a very fresh and known source. Add bacon lettuce tomato and what ever else you want.
