Poor pixy. He just can't catch a break.... :'(

hum.... maybe try lowering your res
I know before I reformatted to win7, my fps was terrible cause of all the junk on my computer. i have dual gtx 260s and i was getting 40 fps. maybe you should try reformatting. maybe try updating your video card drivers.

I can only max dod:s @ 1280 still a good resolution. Maybe try it?
-
well, i changed the setting "multicore rendering" to enabled and it made my average FPS jump to 65
oh and btw banemall, when we were playing l4d i was getting 55 average fps on the same graphic settings as in DOD, not sure why that is, but whatever works

Hum... dont know. maybe try running dods maintenance tools?
In steam go to games>right click on dod>prop>defrag cache files> then verify game cache.
-
If your playing in that league, you going to have to turn gfx down and set a max FPS so you can play good anyways. ;D

Hey Pixie,
try this :
Start Steam, go to my games, right klick DOD and go to properties, then start options, type then : -dxlevel 81

well i was playing with rambe today on an orange map, and my average fps was 101, so i think i'm going to turn down some of the map detail, obviously with no pretty stuff around it was easier for my card, easier for any card, and btw, Heuchler what does that command do...?

Hi Pixie,
The higher levels make use of feature newer graphics maps. Decreasing the DX level switches off these effects and can lead thus to higher performance.
