4 gigs of R.A.M. will not be seen on 32 bit Vista. Great mobo and power supply, killer video card and a better c.p.u then I can afford. Decent R.A.M. but you could have dropped down to ddr2 800 and not seen any difference.

I actually waited a few hours before purchasing for your input because this is the first time I am building my own and I'm not to sure what I am doing. I guess I know next time. I am spending inheritance money, otherwise I couldn't afford this shit either.  :P

Yea, I was thinking about it, but after the rebate it is only 59.99 as fury said. The timing is better too. Plus, corsair is the shit. =P. I can't buy a case of brewskies either.  ;D

Rambo you should get a PSU from pc cooling & power.  I know they dont look cool, BUT they do not use cheap parts.  Because all it takes is a power supply that is made cheaply to fail and wreck 1 grand of your hardware.
Just my .02 cents

this is true what trooper j is saying, but i doubt that would happen. what you really just have to be concerned about is power surges

Yes, I'll send you a game that I never purchased because my system couldn't handle it, but now that I have a good one on the way, I will. NO. NWP is getting Farcry 2 and COD WAW free.

Rambo, I just installed the same motherboard, and RAM. I'm surprised you didn't go with the Core 2 Quad CPU. Don't use the stock CPU cooler, they're crap.

NWP is building a new rig.  I am going to use stock cooling for now. I was going to get a cooler, but I don't like how any of them look  :P. I went with the Dual core because of the price, and I can always upgrade if need be.

Hmmm, no. Darkie, every time you post about hardware it fails. I will not take any suggestions from you. I want my cooler to be blue, that's why I didn't buy one yet. The blue ones out suck. The good ones are red. All my shit is blue. I want it to match. And, that cooler is cheap ass shit that looks like shit.

I don't know, maybe my dad since it is in his house and he doesn't "want it to look like shit". And IMO that cooler looks faggoty.

My point was you aren't gonna get pussy cause of this thing, just get shit that makes it run well.

Stay with the default cooler for now and just get a decent one later if you need it.

Maybe because the side panel is clear? BTW, the stock cooler will work fine. Aftermarket coolers aren't even needed. So, I will wait till I find one I like. Dumb shits.

This setup can handle FarCry2 2 and more.  Nice selection Rambo!  I am an AMD man myself, but if I had to go Intel....this would be my choice!

I was going to go AMD, but decided not to. I never had an Intel Proc. so I wanted to try one.

Update: My uncle is some kinda tech guy for some company so when he was over I had him look, I plugged the front panel cords in wrong but that wasn't the problem it still should have booted. The hard drive clip was fucked up too but that wasn't the problem, still should have booted. So he took my PC to work or his home office or wherever, and called me yesterday, took it day before, and told me one of my RAM sticks was fucked up and causing it to not boot! Corsair failed me. Anyways, it boots up now, I'll be installing my OS this weekend.

I tried to get a refund through NewEgg, but it's passed 30 days, so I went to Corsair's site, emailed them a complaint and told me to just get an RMA code from them and send it in. They're good People.
