Title: Steam Beta

A new beta has been released from Steam, now allowing you to surf the web using the Steam Overlay. I have tested it out myself and it is pretty cool, it gives you Google as your homepage, but it is changeable in the steam files, hopefully they make changing the homepage easier. This is still in Beta but you can download it from your steam settings by being a Beta tester(free).

Thanks! This helps alot when you want to check out the forums (or anything else) while in game.

i think the update has already been released, in steam, go to file, check for steam update. it should of updated

For sure. Another way of using it is, lets say you are playing a game and you are stuck at a certain level, you can check youtube (for example) and see if anyone has posted how to beat it.

Just a thought.
