Hands Mechanical:
yes if you alt tab sometimes it fucks up the cubemaps and so instead of the world being reflected off reflective/shiny surfaces instead you get the missing texture placeholder (which is that pink and black checkerboard im sure most of you have seen before), and also sometimes it makes the models reflectivity weird so they look ultrashiny

its better than back in old dod and cs (pre-steam) when minimizing would cause your sound to disappear and not come back without a restart

Ah, I see. Only thing that happens when I alt tab is when I come back to the game I am looking straight up at the sky.
