im better than 95% of pilots but ofc there are some dudes who put me to shame. still if i have a good gunner w/optics the only thing that can take me down is someone with extreme AT4 skills

yea i had some comp issues last night, sorry bout that fellaz. Game froze and comp crashed. Event viewer is showing taht it was realtek drivers, still troubleshooting. My board is an Asus P6x58d-e and it seems there is an issue with the on board audio, though i started seeing artifacts on the screen (still using 8800 ultra).

i had the same issue, but i solved it by not running MSI afterburner, or any other OC tuning programs. works fine now.

turns out was the damn video card (at least of this writing). Put in another 8800 gtx from work and it works fine now.

Yeah, I still play, and probably will be at least until I get up to level 50. I'll definitely be getting Battlefield 3 though.

Single card will be more stable. Less wiring to deal with. Less driver issues. Nuff said.

I've learned my lesson on that one. Although my 460s in SLI were cheap, I may be looking to offload them and go for a 480 or 570 or something. Getting some weird artifacts lately after new drivers came out.

yea i know the complications with dual setups, but you got aritifacts? most you'd get is stuttering and maybe a crash or two but not artifacts, might be something wrong with one of your cards..

Maybe, but it only happens on a couple specific maps on BC2, not in any other games. I'd be inclined to think it's not the cards, and an individual issue.

I've gotten the black flashy screen as well, as if it's taking over every other frame. That was even when I was using single GTS 250.

same here, but that only happened with my 4670's in xfire. no longer happens with my single 4890. just get a single 570. or a 6970. i got my 4890 for $80 on ebay, im sure there is some good deals on 570's there.

yea not a fan of 1gb cards as i'll be gaming at 1920x1200 (1.5 is the sweet spot, dont really need 2 or 3gb either) i've made up my mind (finally) and dont plan to sli or crossfire, so i'll prob be getting the 580
