banem,the 6 position stock was 70-80 bucks @ gunbroker..theres some cheaper ones but theyr shit..,and those toes are a reply to your dirty toe post,check it out tasty (3rd pic,top right)

also i had to MILL the lower receiver myself..bought a 80% lower and milled the bitch with a chinese piece of shit drill press,took me like 3 days to finish the S.O.B..

now im goin for a DPMS ar10 S.A.S.S. ,with a 24 inch barrel...who hoo!

Banem, if you are going to put a scope on that thing. you should consider picking up another upper for it that is flat top with no front sights. Something like this would probably do good for you. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=224299

Yeah, he could do that and spend more for tools to swap the barrel, plus he would need to get a new gas block and install that. or get a riser to put on the flat top. If he isnt into gunsmithing and is only going to be doing one barrel, he is better off to just buy a complete upper reciever in the long run.

That was actually a consideration. But this was just the cheaper way to go and plus I still enjoy using iron sights still.

and tasty, fuck walmart. it is a leupold. didn't cheap out on the scope. haha
