Grrrr Steam!!!!

Lately I haven't been online playing because steam is causing me problems. Grrrrrrr I hate these thing sometimes. It tells me it can't read my files or something like that does anybody have an idea what I can do to fix it. Please help me and thanks ahead of time.

Ban Em All:
Reinstall steam... only way.

Hands Mechanical:
tell me exactly what it says.  you might not have to reinstall steam, try right clicking on the game in question on the games list and going to properties, click on the "local files" tab and verify the game cache.  if that doesn't fix it though you need to reinstall.

Ban Em All:
You could delete everything in your steam directory except fore the steam.exe and you steamapps folder, then steam redownloads it back and usually fixxes the problem.
