Hello,
My name is Matthew and I go by UKM ingame. I am new to Day Of Defeat:Source but I used to play Day Of Defeat 1.3 on a daily basis until it started dying. I'm an active gamer and love to game. I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

I just got my new computer and love it. I have a Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 video card, 500gb's of space. Basically, my new computer is the best computer out there at the moment. It's worth $7000.00. I received it last night.

Also, just some additional information. I am legally blind, completely in my left, half in my right. I was born three and a half months premature. While I was in the incubator furtherly developing, I lost my vision completely but the doctors did lazer eye surgery but there is too much scar tissue blocking my vision in my left eye, and a bit in my right.

Hate to be the one to say it, but you got robbed blind if you payed 7g's for that computer... Unless it has 50 gigs of memory and some processor ive never heard of. Oh, and welcome to the site

Thanks for the welcome.

I didn't pay for it, it was covered by the government. Nonetheless, it's running Windows Vista - 64-bit. I'd have to look the proper specifications to figure out everything that's in it. Two programs that I need for my vision and schooling, costed over $3000.00 alone.

Who ever put your box together, from the looks of it did a really good job on the cable management. Anyhow good to have you here bro. I myself am hard of hearing
about a 50% loss in both ears. I do have to wear hearing aids on a daily basis, and I still have a hard time hearing some of you in game.

Yeah, more detailed specs would be nice, but i would def put money down that its not worth 7gs.

It was $2500.00 for the stationary computer, meaning all the parts, fans, case, ect.

No, you cannot torrent these programs. They're specifically designed for the visually impaired.

Also - Anyone who thinks I am lying about having vision difficulties, I wouldn't lie about something like that. Even though I am visually impaired, doesn't MEAN I am not going to be good at a game.

It must be a bitch for you to see at night/dusk in real life, and in-game where its dark (cellar, church, etc...).
