Lately DoD is becoming really boring...Those fuckers at Valve don't want to update the game anymore. Can you all tell me what's your motivation to play the same game, same map daily?

yeah, im getting bored of it to. but idk. its still fun imo sometimes, usually when there is no gay convo and its just normal talk.

It can be boring some times, but some times it can be fun. Depends who I am playing with. And like BANEMALL said, sometimes the conversation topic (or just people talking in general) can make it annoying/boring.

Personally I play because I like the people (most of them) and sometimes a gay joke here and there. But when people only talk abut gay things I mute them all in my player list. And it is a good way to blow off steam/aggrivation, killing people can do that to you. ;D

One thing I hate (slightly off topic) is that when I mute people, it becomes unmutted after a while.

I find playing gungame helps me keep going. to win gungame you have to be good with all weapons, and it's an individual game, so when you're fed up with retard noobs, you can at least play a little GG and have some happiness cause you did this and didn't have a noob screw it up before you could win. It also helps hone your skills on all weapons as well.

I can only find them in Europe and that ping is way too high. I have only been able to find zombie mods in CS:s which have a reasonable pings, and that are in the U.S.
Sorry if I made confuzing sentences, I am hyped up onn coffee...

I like to play because I need the relief of everyday life that is the Wash DC area. Also I like the clan.

i should be bored of DOD in general by now, ive been playing it for six or seven years.. but for some reason i never get tired of it
and if u get really bored with pubbing on ava, the solutions are to either play some 12 man with rambo or play gungame, both are refreshingly different from pub DODS

pixie is that LIGS? i get kicked every time i play there for profanity, pisses me off. BudzNetwork is my fav gg server. I've seen Cockpolisher on there before.
PS I will annihilate any of you in GG, I played nothing but dod GG for like six months before I started hanging around KEA

there was one gg server that was the best, it was practically like OnA as far as rules go and the admins were awesome. Also was nice cause it was on its on ded server according to the admins.

I'm at college now so I don't have enough time for games as it is, so DODS is just something I can pick up any time since it's already carved into my head.
That and I like the simple gameplay. Who needs tilt functions, red dot sights, healing behind cover, and all those other gizmos?
Well, that and I haven't found a more modern game like DOD:S. I played Insurgency for a while but that never seemed to get big enough (plus tired of getting killed from across the map). And too cheap to buy orange box. :/

maybe we could mix it up and host the server with the custom maps, but not too detailed ones, orange arena, chery arena, lime arena. We'd definately be different, and those also improve fps due to low graphics usage, great for those in the clan who don't have great computers. I know even with my old card, which would barely maintain 30FPS i could get nearly 100 on those maps. Plus i like them. Like sloppy has said before, ava maps are all over, if we want to stay popular, and entice more people to play, we need to be different.
