Hey all,
If you go into console and type "net_graph 1" without thw quotations, it will show you your fps, in and out, and all that good stuff.
So, my reason for creating this thread is to find out what everyone gets for their FPS.
I get around 200FPS (Frames per second) on DODs. It's amazing.
-
FPS stands for frames per second? I'm not sure who you are, but god bless you sir. God bless you and all your knowledge that you bring to this community. You are a humanitarian, a philanthropist, and an altruist benefactor!
-
6..is that a bad thing?
-
If I stare at a wall maybe 65. Out in the middle between 30-45 depending which side of the map I trying to snipe down.
-
Well, with lower FPS (Frames per second), it really effects your overall gameplay. I really notice the difference with my new computer than my old one. I'm averaging around 250-280 FPS right now. Which is very good.
-
I average 90 fps, And I run 1920x1080 resolution in game, with settings maxed out.
-
That's pretty good Trooper.
-
I average 110-230. 1680x1050 with custom video settings, I think I have my AA more than what it should be. A few graphics settings not listen in the options gui.
-

Whats "AA" ? And RAMBO made a config for me so that I max out at 29/30 Works WAY better than it did when I was pushing 40-50. Very happy. Thanks pumpkin!

Anti Aliasing... it's what smooths out square edges on textures. More important for lower resolutions, when less dots are being drawn. Then again I run 1920x1200 and still have it at 8x.
-
Anti Aliasing....
Is that some config shit or can it be enabled? I need that, would help me lots....

You might get a lot of choppy game play because it can be really hard on the graphics card. just go to options>video>advance. the higher the number, the better the quality, but the lower the fps.
-
On my bad PC i stop it at 30. On my good PC, i get around 200.

OK, Ty.

I get -4 to -30 with my SLI gtx monster 3d 2000. Is that good?
About 50-60 with a gts 8800 320 :p
-
so you guys know if your fps go's from 60 to 30 that is not a good thing, before you join the server you should put in fps_max(or max_fps) and set it to a number where your fps will stay constant, that is the most important thing.
-
I normally have v-sync on but a quick run gave me 100-300fps ingame... 1680x1050 with 8xAA.
I built this rig to max out crysis... 4890 OC'd :D.
-
i get betwen 9 and 27 (fcking laptop)
laging most off the time
-
I get average of 50-60 top settings, minus anti aliasing, 1920x1200
-
I get 25-40 depending on the scenery exposed as my good computer blew-up.
Oldy enough, the resolution doesn't have a great affect on fps (high or low has little difference), the main problem I have is the poor performance of the AMD Sempron 2800+ :-/
The fps_max tip sounds good, I'll give it a try as the frame rate does vary on my slow computer.
-
i know yall bitches gon be mad and all, but i get 40-50 FPS (1024x768)with a radeon x550/x600, a video card made in 2004 made by microsoft, for sony vaio computers. i dare to see if anyone has a worse GPU than me.
also something to really boil your skin. im also running a P4 550(3.40) in a LGA 775 socket. i think im in love with it too much to get rid of it or upgrade.

No, he broke his comp with a splash of vodka ( no SRSLY), so he now has a newer laptop with an amd Dual core.

hey which 4890 do you have? I've got an Asus standard clock'd one.
On DoD with max settings i get about 100-250, but sometimes it stutters down to 25-35, which is rather odd.
