Yea, but they're gaming mice are overpriced IMO. Razer is probably the better route.

They may be overpriced new, but I got a refurb g5 off ebay 4 years ago for 20 and still running strong.

I've heard great things about G9 and G500.  G500 being the updated version of my current mouse.  Obviously razor is a reputable company as well.

Will work just fine. Its meant to click and move a cursor across a screen. Why make it so damn complicated.

if you head over to the PC gaming section..i think by accident i put in reviews for the R.A.T. series gaming mice over there by mistake (i don't know how to move threads). Maximum PC gave the 7 like a 9 or a 10/10..they were really gushing all over it.

hej Tasty,

i play with the Logi G9, is a great Mouse, two left buttons.
i recommend you this mouse. Logitech has a great support, very quickly change when the mouse is damage ( 3-5 Days you got a new one to youre home, in Garantytime ).
Long Garanty ( 3 Years ).
You can put weights in it and change the cover, its all in the price.
The mouse has 3200dPi, but play with 1200 dpi is the best, you can quickly change the settings with an button on top of the mouse.
Any good mousepads are from Raptor.
I dont know the price for the G9 overseas, in Germany i payed 59,- Euros last Year.

Cu

good stuff.  actually i messed up - im getting the R.A.T. 5 instead of the 7.  Some people are complaining that the thumb adjustment on the 7 is fucked up. They say it becomes "loose" after an hour of presses or so.  It then wobbles to the point that if you have a high DPI setting it will actually stray when pressing multiple times (sure they can fix with a driver update).   The R.A.T. 5 has a fixed thumb holder ( i dont really need that adjustable option).

P1010251.MOV (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbinkRoWrRY#ws)   - click test

P1010252.MOV (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkoeSFLy7Ak#ws)     - thumb adjustment fail

decided to go with the logitech g9x   oh and by the way, if any of you need a new rig and you're dead poor, tigerdirect has a deal on a new system build for 249.99 :  http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?dpNo=6617649&sku=B69-0223&SRCCODE=WEM2366S&cm_mmc=email-_-Main-_-WEM2366-_-tigeremail (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?dpNo=6617649&sku=B69-0223&SRCCODE=WEM2366S&cm_mmc=email-_-Main-_-WEM2366-_-tigeremail)

A: that rig would be alright, but you'll want a higher clock speed cpu, like the one I got, phenom II x3 720.  Stock clock is 2.9 ghz.
B: there is no videocard with that barebone kit, you'd need to buy one.
C;  Of all the things in that picture, i'd rather have the chick.

I got a new mouse pad off the interwebz, cause it was cheap, and it's very large.  I used my hand on my G5 for reference of the size.  It's larger than my wifes 9x12 pen tablet, and that includes the border around the 9x12 tablet surface......idk, i won't ever have to move the mouse pad again :)

FTFY

and I thought my mouse pad was big.

It's a little larger than the website made it out to be, but it's working out quite well, no need to readjust mouse pad any longer.
