Title: Is Bad Company 2 slow or laggy?

According to EA support pages, you need to open these ports on your router to your computer:


TCP

80
443
8443
13505
18390
18395

UDP

1000
18395




I opened them and my lag decreased significantly, and overall game play was better.


If you don't know how to do that, or need help, just message me on steam, it's not hard, but some people don't know.

Also make sure you wipe any traces of the beta from your comp, including the beta folder in my documents.

You install their manual updater, then add BC2 to the game list, then check for updates btw.

Well last night I was sniping from 20 yards away, go red dot sight :)

Then I blew up 3 ONA people hiding in a tank.....

i guess i got no choice but to buy the motherfucker and let it lag my low end PC...

ps:do choppy lag kills count?

Just lay traps for people, don't worry about shooting them, you'll probably lose.
