Two years ago when i bought my first computer ever i didn't have much money left. So i went to the store and bought a cheap mouse. Turns out it was the best mouse ever!!!! All the buttons you need plus a double click. FANTASTIC small mouse ever!!!!! I'll reiterate what i said.  If you want a "Top of the line gaming mouse" There is no choice but a Razer.  But i use whatever random crap mouse i have.  Hell the one i have now is a crappy optical POS.

The biggest difference in mice is DPI
Optical VS Laser (If you even think about getting a ball mouse, jump off a cliff)

Laser is higher DPI and much more accurate then optical.

But it's not like you're doing surgery here :P
