Somehow I don't find this supprising. It was only a few years ago in England that the police carried out "the largest survalance opperation since World War II". It was against a "terror plot" and I think the poeple who were being whatched are now convicted and in prison.
There have been other high profile survalance operations and mistakes in the last five years. I'm not supprised its going on accross the pond as well.
Edit: I still find it funny how they want the tracking device back haha.
