I've been out of the gaming loop for a while, and I figure I could use a new MP game. I don't want to do MW2 because of the new console-style hosting for the PC, so what else is out there? I don't really wanna get TF2 because, well, it's another source game. Anything else?

what's wrong with source game? and tf2 is very fun, and they are constantly updating it. l4d and l4d2 too are also good games. I personally like borderlands as well.

Well, it's a 5 year old engine now, based off an 11 year old game... kinda wanna try something new.

I might pick up TF2, dunno if I want to drop the $15 for it. :S

well you should have been watching the price, right around thanks giving, they had it for 3 dollars, for about 12 hours one day. just saying.

I suppose. Well, I've been awfully busy with schoolwork lately and only started gaming again this break. I'll probably shrink away once break is over though.

Personaly the best shooter game, that you can also play online is CRYSIS warhead (the online version is crysis wars). This is one of the few games i actualy bought and didnt download from torrents and i realy like it. It is a bit old , from 2008 but still very good.

not sure bout PC but there is an amazing game out there for PS3 called Demons Souls. its not FPS, its an action RPG and perhaps the best action RPG ever made.

not holding my breath for BC2. the earlier one, Battlefield 2 was a cockblocking gayass game. You spawn and run literally 5 mins to get to where the action is, and when you reach your killed by a stupid plane dropping a bomb there. you spawn again and run back only to get sniped by a fagit sniper and you have no clue where he is cos the map is so big. any fps with planes is jus plain stupid. l4d2 is worth buying if its priced at 19.95. cos thats how much expansion packs should cost.

well all i can say (from the little bit of time i spent with the game) is that BF BC2 is awesome. You can spawn on your squad mates and when your killed they show your killer on the kill cam. I dont play it that much cause as i stated earlier , i hate playin an fps on a console. They should be releasing the beta for PC sometime next month i heard. The game is really balanced imo.

yea i played l4d2 for like 2 hours and got bored with it. It didnt wow me enough like the first one did. Kinda sucks that my friend bought me the game and i really wanted to boycott that shit.

I don't know how you guys feel about game cracks but I know of a working crack for boarderlands, I think the game blows but maybe its cause my comp cant run a damn thing so I just lag everywhere.
