MMORPG's World of Warcraft, and Aion
« on: August 26, 2009, 05:01:01 PM »
Ok, I quit playing wow back in February of this year (09), due to completing everything avalible, and not having a consistant group of people to play with for doing PVP, or anything. But the Content is out now, hard stuff at that. And more just came out, with even more on the way. Also the new expantion (3rd one) has been announced, That wont be out till 2010, but Is something im interested in. I just spend 3 fucking hours installing the game again, 1 1/2 hours because there is a asshat killing my bandwidth, so it took longer for the last bit. But the point of this thread is because there is a brand new MMORPG that is going to be released in September. It is called Aion. Now you only get two races, and a few classes, But it was something that got me interested with the way you play, and advance. They dont have a ton of info that I was looking for, but still seems fun. My concern right now for Aion, is my computers lack of graphics handling. Even WoW runs at 25-30 fps. So a new game is gonna be more demanding. But here are sits for both the new WoW expansion, and the Aion game. I'd like Positive feedback only please.

Positive feedback?
Ok...
if you kill yourself now, your parents will have more time to pay off your bills before they die.

lol what bills? My parent doesnt pay any bills for me. I dont buy things that need payments, and dont do anything that costs too much extra. Paying the $15 a month for WoW was tad more than a hour of work at my last job. And when I had no more money to play, I quit playing. Nothing wrong with that.

I didn't ask that, nor do I care. if im not mistaken you pointed that out elseware as well. I asked for opinions on the games.

Never ask on a DoD Clan forum about WoW.  Bad shit happens.

This might be a Dod clan forum, but its not in a section that has to do with either DoD, or the clan. I asked a legitimate question, if you wanna be a prick about it, then fuck off. Atleast I kept the topic in a place that is where you are supposed to ask questions about it. Sorry DoD is not my life, nor is games. It is something to do for fun in my free time, when I get bored. I don't limit myself to DoD, so I wanted honest fucking opinion on what something thought about the new content, or the new game being more worthwhile.

Your paying for a service, we get new content all the time, fixed bugs all the time, patches with new stuff, again, all the time.

same with 99.9% of other games. this is just my opinion though. and i for one, im sure i can speak for most of the clan here to. dont limit ourselves to dods.

games i personally frequent: cod4, cod5, l4d, tf2, track mania, splintercell, crysis, css, pure, some hl2 such as deathmatch, portal. peggle.

Honestly, it should beable to play wow better then DoD.
And Banemall, you don't understand. You never played the game, so you wouldnt. And you still limit yourself. Those games are for the majority FPS games. I like to do more than run around shooting things, thats is what I meant by it gets boring, or more repetative then what I complained about on WoW...
Most of these games are just the same thing over and over, there is no room for expantion. A new multiplayer map? Wow, yippie fucking doodaa... The developers for wow, keep makeing improvments as in adding new areas, quests, mounts, balancing the classes. They have in game people to help with problems, with almost anything. Again, I can go on. You won't make a valid point against me on this. Yes some games dont deserve a penny after buying them. But WoW is well mantained.

i used to play a MMORPG..outwar or something like that,it was a shit game but fun cause of the community, played for some time til i realized the only way to make progress was to join a clan and play 16 hs a day or to dump ur paycheck on it..there was no skill involved..just paid points,so i gave em the finger and moved to dod.
